"Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service Children usually avoid talking to their parents and loved ones about the problems they face, hide their feelings from others, find it difficult to find a way out of their difficulties, and most importantly, they are afraid to share with other people about the injustice, lawlessness and violence that happened to them. The situation of children who are in a state of severe psychological shock is getting worse and worse, the problems are deepening, and as a result, a large number of negative events occur. In such cases, children turn to the "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service to receive psychological support and advice, in short, to share their feelings.
Considering the following important factors: Since February 1, 2010, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the NGO Alliance on Children's Rights and the "Hopeful Future" Youth Organization, which performs the function of its secretariat, established the "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service together with the support of Azercell Telecom Company, UNICEF, "Save the Children", "Worldview" international organizations. On February 18, 2010, a ceremonial official opening was held and the general public was informed about it. Baku Metro, Ministry of Transport, AvirTell Telecom Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan support the activity of the "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service. As of June 2013, according to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan on additional measures in the field of providing social services to children with disabilities and minors in socially dangerous situations, January 09, 2013) within the framework of the project "Social-psychological services for the prevention of minor neglect" ("Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" service), the "Azerbaijan Children's Hotline" is the service center of the Organization of Hopeful Future Youth. The service provides social, psychological and legal assistance to children and adolescents under the age of 18, as well as to every person related to their problems, with the financial support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
